This book describes the experiences of the Lindholm family as they lived and worked with a very large Protestant Church deep in the mountains of Negros. Filipino families enabled the Americans to survive; and Mr. Lindholm continued to serve as a missionary throughout the four years of war. He was in touch with many Silliman students and faculty members-and with the guerilla forces which were loyal to the cause of freedom.
