A young American who has chosen to live in Andalusia In 1946. Stuart Bailey falls in love with his beautiful and mysterious renter. Juanita Odeon. He loses his left arm in what might be called the last shootout of WWII. Only it happens in southern Spain, while Stuart is desperately trying to save Juanita's life. The mystery revolves around the fact that her father, who served as Hitter's Look-alike during the war is now temporarity parked in Spain while en route to refuge in Iraq. We discover that the look-alike is many times worse than the original Fuhrer and Stuart is engaged in a life-or-death war in which we experience the warmth and generosity of the Spanish people, but also the vicious stupidity of the national police.
