The booklet "Moments of Life" by Dr. Le Kien Thanh (son of General Secretary Le Duan) includes 17 articles, wich are divided into two parts "Story" and "Narrative". In the articles in the "Story" section, especially in the two articles Riverside Village and Chin Nhon's Family, the author tells a typical story about the nation's war years. One story is about a Northern village, one is about a Southern family, along with stories about life behind the scenes, in the military compound... vividly recreating the sacrifices of a generation in war, for peace. Part two is Dr. Le Kien Thanh's memories about family, friends and relatives, including articles such as: Grandmother, My Sister, Teammate, Uncle Viet Phuong... In the book, the author does not dedicate any separate articles to his father, but readers still see the shadow of his father - General Secretary Le Duan through articles about family and relatives.
